CINCINNATI, OH (October 23, 2013) – Michelman has added three new team members to its paper and corrugated business unit. The addition of these three experienced professionals strengthens Michelman’s ability to serve and support its customers in the Americas.
Mr. Robert Turnbull has joined Michelman as Group Leader for the paper and corrugated business unit, with a focus on the Americas. He is working with regional customers, helping them meet product development, sales and growth objectives, and will manage Michelman’s Paper Coatings Americas’ technology team. He will oversee the business unit’s open innovation and new technology efforts.
Turnbull has over 20 years of product and business development experience in the paper industry. He previously worked for suppliers to paper mills including Cytec, Ciba and Buckman and paper companies including Sappi and Verso. Turnbull holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Pretoria in South Africa and a Master of Science in Paper and Science Engineering from Miami University in Oxford, OH.
Mr. Kurt Heinzelman has joined the Michelman organization as a Regional Sales and Marketing Manager – Paper Coatings. He is responsible for sales management in the Americas, helping customers achieve profitable and sustainable growth. He will also oversee marketing activities for Michelman’s paper and corrugated coatings business, including strategic development and implementation.
Heinzelman has over 15 years of sales and sales management experience in related market segments. He previously worked for xpedx (a division of International Paper) in sales, sales training and sales management. Heinzelman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Xavier University.
Ms. Caylinn Wallace has been hired as Territory Manager, Paper Coatings. She will be responsible for serving Michelman’s paper coatings customers throughout the Southwestern and Western United States. Her responsibilities include interacting with customers, end users, channel partners and key stakeholders, while simultaneously being accountable for territory growth, development of new business opportunities and customer satisfaction.
Wallace has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University and has spent the past five years in various marketing and sales roles including positions with Temple-Inland and International Paper.
