CINCINNATI, OH (January 29, 2013) – Michelman has entered into a partnership with LexJet Corporation, transferring responsibility for U.S. and Canadian sales and support of its line of digital press primers and overprint varnishes to the Sarasota, Florida based company. Those responsibilities were previously handled by Utopia Digital Technologies.
Michelman digital press supplies now sold and supported by LexJet include DigiPrime®, Sapphire and Topaz primers; Michem® In-Line primers for presses with inline priming units; DigiGuard® overprint varnish; and Michem Indicator that detects the presence of a Michelman primer on dry substrates.
LexJet has been serving the digital-printing community since 1994, and has increased sales and customer support staff in anticipation of the agreement. The company is also implementing an online ordering system to better serve customers, and will be adding strategically located warehouses to improve delivery time and cost.
