Michelman has appointed Tomasz Machnik as the company’s new Business Development Manager for Central Europe. This appointment is part of the company’s continued focus on investing in emerging markets and expanding into new geographies.
Mr. Machnik brings extensive flexible packaging experience and leadership skills to this position. He was most recently Export Manager for Alupol Films Sp. z o.o.; served in sales as well as Export Manager at FLEXPOL Sp. z o.o.; and has previously held leadership positions in market research & strategy, customer service, and goods distribution.
Machnik earned his Chemical Engineer degree from Warsaw University of Technology and will be based out of Poland. This is consistent with Michelman’s customer intimate approach and will allow for timely and quality service to their expanding European customer base.

Michelman recently extended its distribution agreement with Safic-Alcan to include the Central European market and Turkey. These appointments will strengthen Michelman’s impact and efforts in this region.
