CINCINNATI, OH (June 11, 2012) – Michelman continues to strengthen its flexible packaging business unit with the addition of four professionals in the USA, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Krist Vanderstiggel has been hired as a Territory Manager - Flexible Packaging. He will be responsible for managing and supporting Michelman’s European flexible packaging direct customers as well as the company’s extensive network of agents and distributors.
With over 15 years of experience in the flexible packaging field, Vanderstiggel brings a wealth of product and industry knowledge to the Michelman team. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering Chemistry from the Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' of Belgium and will be based out of Michelman’s office in Capellen, Luxembourg.
Mr. Adam Liu has joined Michelman as the new Territory Sales Manager, China. Mr. Liu will be responsible for managing the sales function within Michelman’s paper coatings and flexible packaging business units in the Asia Pacific region.
Liu earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh, and boasts business and sales management experience in China at various companies including Roymal and Shiner International. He will be based in Shanghai, China.
Ms. Celine Caris has joined the company as an Inside Sales Representative - Flexible Packaging. Ms. Caris will be responsible for supporting the European sales team as well as designated customers. She holds a Master’s Degree in Biology of Organisms and Ecology from the Universities of Namur and Louvain-la-Neuve of Belgium. She will be based out of the company’s offices in Capellen, Luxembourg.
Ms. Kristin Becknell has been hired to join the Inside Sales and Field Technical Support Team at Michelman’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. She will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing accounts. She has extensive sales and customer service experience, having worked as an inside sales representative, customer care professional, trainer, and technical writer at companies including Cincinnati Bell, Henkel, and MACtac.
