Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize indirect materials and services procurement, by analyzing spend data to identify opportunities for cost savings opportunities and efficient practices.
• Manage and enhance indirect materials and services procurement, using ERP system insights. Embrace e-Procurement solutions to streamline sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing, integrating supplier and contract management with automated approvals.
• Suggest sustainable procurement strategies for indirect materials and services, aligning these practices with the company's environmental policies to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable sourcing.
• Maintain system integrity in the ERP system, ensure procurement policy, guidelines and any associated documents are in place and updated when required.
• Procuring MRO – indirect materials and services, and occasionally direct materials, through ERP system. This includes identifying and ordering the proper quantity. negotiating pricing and shipment terms if needed, identify alternative suppliers. Overseeing the timely delivery of materials and system updating to fulfill production needs.
• Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary. Chasing suppliers for late confirmations and deliveries, resolving issues where stock does not arrive promptly, and complaints arise.
• Working with related department to ensure that all deliveries meet the requirement schedules and escalating if unable to address the issues.
• Support the department in achieving long and short-range business plans and goals.
• Serve as a primary interface with global teams in procurement, particularly in areas concerning indirect materials and services to ensure we deploy the best knowledge into our procurement approach.
• Participate in supply related projects.
• Handle all claims, returns, and feedback related to indirect materials and services.
• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

Education and Experience

• Degree in Business Management, Engineering or its equivalent, Chemistry or Supply Chain a plus
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in direct or indirect material and services sourcing in chemicals or chemicals related industrial,
• Manufacturing work setting and sourcing of direct materials or MRO will be advantageous.
• Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Possess strong organizational skills
