General Summary:

Michelman is recruiting a Junior Marketing Analyst reporting to the Manager, Global Product, Marketing department, located in the Windhof office, Luxembourg.
To stay competitive in today’s market, Michelman uses data to guide decision-making. As part of this data-driven organization, the Marketing Analyst is a professional who is responsible for interpreting research about the company’s consumers and their buying habits. The Marketing Analyst will research and identify ways to acquire new clients and to improve both efficiency and effectiveness of the sales and marketing processes.
The position responsibilities include researching consumer behavior and exploring market trends and opportunities. Marketing analyst will also play an active role in Marketing campaigns, in digital communication, in trade shows, especially from a leads management perspective and social media feeding.
Objectives detailed above will be achieved using advanced Customer Relation Management tools and will require to manipulate large sets of data.
The ideal candidate is someone with knowledge of the foundational marketing concepts, with strong analytical skills and continuously aiming for improvement toward more efficiency.
To be successful at Michelman, this individual will work closely with the Marketing and Sales Effectiveness Senior Specialist, with the Marketing Managers, with MARCOM team and with the Sales team.
Ultimate goal for this position consists in providing positive impact on sales outcomes.

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and gather data
• Analyze and interpret data
• Communicate results and identify opportunities for growth
• Analyze sales funnels and customer intent
• Measuring performance of Marketing campaigns and events
• Create content to feed company’s social media
• Develop EMEA digital communication
• Reporting on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, return on investment
• Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data
• Recommend process and campaign optimizations
• Research and implement marketing tools
• Work with sales & marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition
• Communicate regularly with other marketing and sales staff including managers and executives about projects.
• Transform data into visual charts and graphs to make compelling presentations to the leadership team
• Maintain the customer database, its integrity and quality of all data.
• Contribute on projects to improve Marketing and Sales Effectiveness, such as business processes and use of artificial intelligence.
• Assist IT with Salesforce questions, configuration and improvement projects
• Produce internal documentation to document our processes and procedures, and produce end user training materials
• Act as the first line of Salesforce support for internal Salesforce users


Critical Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good knowledge of Sales Force and MS Excel
• Data Analytics Skills together with data visualization skills
• Curiosity
• Foundational Marketing Knowledge
• Impactful digital communication skills, with knowledge of tools like Linked In
• Gathering research and data. Need to know how to conduct industry research, including customer buying habits and competitor tactics.
• Understand basic math and statistics to better identify trends.
• Clear communicators who can explain complex cause and effect relationships


Education and Experience:

• BSc in Marketing or relevant field
• Work experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role (minimum 3 years)
• English speaking
• Salesforce certification or advanced Excel would be an asset


Other: Able to travel (car, plane or train) up to 10% of the time.
